The mission of the Hampton Arts Initiative (HAI) is to encourage artists to discover, or  rediscover, Hampton,
to be inspired by its beauty, and to bring attention to this wonderful resource.
By encouraging artists and patrons to visit often, to create, and to get involved with programming and events,
the HAI hopes to attract new audiences who will help to generate awareness and stewardship
so that Hampton National Historic Site
may continue to serve as a national treasure for generations to come.

The 2013 Hampton Arts Initiative project is made possible with support from the Board of Directors
and the Women’s Committee of HHI, the National Park Service at Hampton National Historic Site,
the Citizens of Baltimore County, local artists, and the many friends of Hampton.

In addition, this project is also made possible by an Impact Grant from the National Park Foundation
through the generous support of ARAMARK, through the Yawkey Foundation,
and the Fernandez Pave the Way Foundation.
